Upgrade of cargo handling equipment in Gdansk
The Port of Gdansk Eksploatacja S.A. has recently invested in upgrading its cargo handling equipment. The cranes that the company ordered in 2023 have now arrived in Gdansk. These cranes are capable of lifting up to 84 tonnes and have a radius of 40 meters. When working together, they can handle loads weighing up to 100 tonnes.
This new equipment will allow the company to expand its operations, especially in handling heavy items like project cargo, steel structures, machinery, and vehicles. Both cranes have been modified to handle bulk cargo, such as grain or coal, with the help of c-hooks. Additionally, they feature a universal container spreader.
